It’s a low-rise scissor platform lift for moving goods safely over small changes in floor level, common in retail back-of-house, warehousing and loading areas where trolleys, pallets or handcarts need to bridge a step or dock. This reduces manual handling and keeps stock flowing between levels.
The Levelmaster offers capacities up to 2,000 kg with travel up to 1,500 mm. That covers typical height differences between floors, docks and raised storage platforms without the complexity of a full passenger/goods lift.
You can choose from various platform sizes and either through or adjacent entrances. Top landing can use a half-height gate or a full-height door, so you can match existing traffic flows and guarding. This flexibility helps the lift fit your space with minimal layout changes.
Install typically needs minimal builders’ work with the area made ready, a space for a hydraulic cabinet nearby, and a 415 V three-phase + earth supply for the hydraulic drive. Because the requirement is modest, sites can often prepare quickly and limit downtime.
Stannah plans and manages the lift installation; typical installation is 3–4 days, with work sequenced to reduce disruption to trading or operations. For busy sites, that short programme is the key advantage of a low-rise platform lift.
Units are installed to meet the Essential Safety Requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008, tested/commissioned and UKCA-marked. That gives duty-holders a clear compliance route for workplace lifting equipment.
You get 12 months’ warranty & servicing as standard, with UK-wide maintenance and options (including 24/7 and 365 day cover for high-use sites). Ready access to UK-stocked genuine parts helps keep downtime low.
