The Stannah North West England and North Wales service branch offers a variety of lift and stairlift services, covering the main centres of Llandudno, Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and Carlisle – and everywhere in between. We’re part of an independent British family business, founded in 1867, that prides itself on providing local lift maintenance, repair and breakdown services, delivering that personal touch and being ‘always true to our word’.

We know how important a working lift or stair lift is to those that depend on it. We pride ourselves on conducting thorough lift service visits as part of any service contract, we ensure that every part is checked over and help to save customers money by preventing costly lift repair bills. Whilst we’ve over 150 years of lift expertise, we’re also well known for stairlifts. We also offer a stairlift repair and call-out service, providing stairlift servicing for both Stannah and other manufacturers. Plus with our emergency breakdown cover, we’ll get your lifting device working and back into service as quickly as possible.

We offer three types of standard maintenance contracts, designed to suit every need and budget, along with customised service contracts. If you don’t have a service agreement, that’s not a problem, our experienced lift engineers can still help. We help both contract customers and non-customers to maintain and keep their lifting device in working order.

We are also involved in lift refurbishments, lift modernisations and turn-key lift installations, regularly working with architects, clients, consultants, and contractors and ensuring we deliver high quality customer service. Some of our projects include a unique installation at the magnificent Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, escalator and lift installations at the Leeds Station southern entrance and lift refurbishments at Hamilton Square Station on the Wirral.
